 Eid,the day of Joy

On this holy day of Eid,

My heart aches for those in Kashmir,

Where the pain and suffering won't recede,

And the joyous atmosphere seems to disappear.


The valley once filled with laughter and glee,

Now echoes with cries of pain and despair,

As the youth struggle to find their destiny,

And the elders pray for peace everywhere.


The streets once adorned with colorful lights,

Now seem desolate and forlorn,

As the darkness of the night,

Leaves a chill in the air, to mourn.


Oh Allah, hear the cries of those in need,

Bring them joy and happiness once more,

Help them find their way, and let them succeed,

In finding peace and love, and so much more.


May this Eid be a reminder of hope,

And a beacon of light in the midst of gloom,

May the youth of Kashmir find ways to cope,

And build a future filled with bloom.


For all those who celebrate this day,

Let's remember those in Kashmir,

And pray for their happiness, come what may,

And let our love and care, be their armor.


So on this Eid, let's unite and pray,

For the people of Kashmir, far and near,

May Allah guide them on their way,

And wipe away every single tear.
